We offer consulting services to midwifery practices and birth centers who keep their billing in-house. Our many years of midwifery and facility billing experience is valuable! Increase your cash flow by learning how to correctly bill and receive reimbursement for intrapartum complications, transports, false labor, newborn facility fees and other situations. Learn how to correctly bill on the CMS-1500 or UB-04 claim forms. Solidify your financial agreements with your clients so you are appropriately reimbursed for your services. We offer a lot of information about collecting deposits in advance and calculating refunds after insurance claims have processed (you should not be offering 100% refunds). Obtain samples of our superbill, financial agreement, and several other helpful documents. After our initial training sessions with you or your staff, you may call or email in the future with questions so that you can be sure you are properly implementing what we have taught you. |
 Do you have a group of midwives who you would like us to address? We have been asked to speak at state midwifery conferences and also to college classes of student-midwives. We are happy to do an on-line presentation using Go To Meeting technology. This makes it unnecessary for us to travel to your location; rather we can present to you using the Internet. You would need to be able to project your computer screen so that your class could see it. The group would view our PowerPoint presentation and hear the presenter's voice on a speakerphone. This has been a very effective way for us to present to large groups. |
